They just keep on singing – what began as a small musical interlude at their own school-leaving party in Kiel in 1986 went on to win five national barbershop championship titles, taking TAKE FOUR to the USA (Miami & Nashville) and the United Kingdom, amongst other places.
And true to the North German maxims “Nothing comes from nothing” and ”Headwinds shape character”, TAKE FOUR guides its audience through the current anniversary programme “An Norbert denken!” ("Thinking of Norbert!") with its unmistakable a cappella sound and plenty of irresistible wit.
The full-length programme features close harmony compositions from the barbershop and jazz genres, as well as pop standards and pieces by the Comedian Harmonists.
